    Pri preizkušanju kolesa se nismo omejevali. V laboratoriju je kolo opravilo preizkuse najzahtevnejših standardov, pa tudi dodatne preizkuse, ki so pripomogli k našim odločitvam o zasnovi (geometrija, trdnost vilice itd.). Vendar to ni vse. Preizkusili smo ga tudi na cesti. Podali smo se na legendarne dirke (Paris-Roubaix, Tour des Flandres, Ardéchoise itd.), krajše vožnje, pa tudi dolge vožnje s prtljažnikom.

    ive had the bike about 6 months now. I bought on line and it was very poorly set up when it arrived. I'd recommend getting it in a shop if at all possible. It is heavyish (but not for the oprice I guess) but rides very nicely. I use it for commuting with racks and mudguards and love the feel of the ride. No punctures yet. The paint job looks great but marks very easily. Otherwise great - a really nice looking bike with a very good price and a great ride

    I purchased this on Monday the 9th of September 2109 and thought it best to wait a few weeks before leaving a review.
    My commute is a 30 mile round trip and entirely on a tarmac canal tow path- although some stretches are very bumpy- almost mini moguls.

    The bike is an effective tool. As a commute it is perfect and I very much enjoy riding it. It is stylish and lively, and a slight grin crosses my face when i see other commuters on bikes twice the price only just keeping up! I am 59 years old and had been away from cycling for a few years since moving from London to Edinburgh, so the initially few weeks required me getting fitter and stronger.

    The bike was collected in store, fully built up and after 600 odd miles has not required any adjustment. The French guy who builds them may not be the most communicative but he lets his spannering do the talking!

    As my commute is flat I am peddling all the time, the bike seems to go very well with moderate input and I can average 15 miles an hour in spite of bridges and dog walkers. I particularly like it in the blue. Seems to add to the ‘frenchness’ of it all!

    I fully recommend this and at least two other people have purched one of these on my recommendation.

    I am 6 foot, ride the Large version, fitted SPD pedals and Rockrider shoes (the clears are below the rubber sole so no clipping when walking)

    I've had my triban 500 for a couple weeks now, although I've only put a few miles on it, I've been very impressed so far. I'm 6'2" and ordered the XL, but I probably would of got away with the L, so i guess somebody larger than me would manage XL.
    It's very comfortable, looks the business and has a spec list far better than comparably priced bikes.
    It seems well put together.
    It was delivered 99% assembled and only needed a few tweaks to get the bars and saddle positioned correctly.
    I'm pleased it has pannier and mudguard bosses as I plan on doing a bit of travelling in the future.
    This is my first road bike, so I cant really compare to anything else, but so far so good!

    For the price the bike is excellent value. However, I've experienced difficulties with after sales service. The staff are friendly and very helpful, but I bought the bike and a couple of weeks later had still not been informed that it was in store. It was, I just wasn't informed. I went to be fitted for the bike, it was built, but I had to ring them the following week. The brakes on the bike are good, but I would prefer hydraulic. The store ordered the brakes, but didn't update me, although the website was showing that the parts were in store. When I booked the bike in and drove 15 miles to the store expecting the bike to be dealt with on that day or the following day. There were no members of staff from the cycling department and other staff were unable to offer an explanation. I could have left the bike, but they couldn't tell me if or when it would be dealt with. I looked at the 'pile' of bikes that appeared to be waiting for some attention and decided that the manual brakes would do for now and the £50 upgrade cost would be better staying in my pocket.

    The bike is great. The staff are really friendly and offer good advice, but the wasted time and effort detracts from the store.

    Pleased with the actual bike as fits and rides nicely , however.!!!..The bikes gears were not set up in the slightest..even if Decathlon says checks are done they were not on this bike 100%. Had to take to a local dealer to set gears up , as would not even shift to the higher grouping , and the lower one,s the chain dragged across derailleur , so should not have been missed , so not impressed.

    Just bought an RC 500 and can say it is the most comfortable road bike I have used but still effective at covering the ground quickly . Sora group set is great and works perfectly even has micro trim feature on front mech. For 530 it’s a great value bike and you would have to pay £700 plus for branded equivalent .

    The bike itself is really nice and pleased with it and the other items in my order (once it was complete) , however.!! The gears were not set up at all and required indexing by a local shop, they were of then opinion that the gears had more or less been placed on the frame and nothing else..so not happy to be paying out to correct a fault for a new bike that should not happen.
